Stand with immigrant families. Oppose HB2124/SB2576.

Whether Black or white, native or newcomer, we all want the freedom to live our lives and to be safe in our communities. But instead of being serious about safety, some legislators are trying to control us and tell us what's best for our families, neighbors, and local governments.

Soon, the Tennessee state senate will be voting on SB2576 to mandate cooperation between local law enforcement and ICE. While the bill is legally incoherent, these extreme legislators’ intent is clear: to force every local law enforcement agency to work with ICE to tear apart our families, terrorize our neighborhoods, and deport our neighbors, all the while ignoring the things we actually need to keep us safe, from common sense gun reform to good paying jobs to affordable healthcare.  

But we know when we come together, we can win. We have defeated dangerous legislation in the past, and now we need your help to protect our communities and stop this dangerous bill from becoming law.
